School's Rules Rule

Writing is such a stress reliever to the brain. It's a constant trail of thought with little to no filter at all. Like, right now, I'm thinking of what I'm writing as I go along. It's midnight on a schoolnight, I'm going to sleep within the next half an hour and I'm writing. From my brain to the page (or webpage haha).
Being in highschool, there's constantly things going on. Homework. Tests. Things to do after-school. It can be the hassle, especially if you don't have the best time-management skills (cough-cough me), but although it's not my absolute favorite place to spend everyday I kinda like it. School gives me a sense of security. I don't have to worry about finding a job right now. Instruction is handed to me, and I know exactly what is expected. Now don't get me wrong, it's easier said than done, but so is "working". What does that even mean? When someone says "I'm going to work" they could be heading to a cubicle, a hospital, a warehouse, or a classroom full of kids eager-to-learn. They could be walking into the room adjacent to their bedroom or taking a 2-3 hour commute. Some people even fly to work. However, when someone says "I'm going to school", it's all a very common idea. Building with kids, not too far from home, and learning. I can ask any kid my age about something I'm learning in school and they'd probably know exactly what I'm talking about. So yea, I kinda like school. Maybe just a little.
